Opened in 2015, the Scott Family Amazeum interactive children’s museum is located in Bentonville at 1009 Museum Way. Exhibits and learning spaces occupy approximately 50,000 square feet at Amazeum. The exhibits highlight the many industries and people that built Arkansas with fun displays like the Nickelodeon Play Lab,3M Tinkering Hub, and Hershey’s Lab.

Frank Lloyd Wright Bachman-Wilson House

Add another adventure to your Hyundai Sante Fe trip log and visit the Bachman-Wilson House. Designed by world-renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, the home is a prime example of Wright’s unique style of architecture. Featuring native stone and mahogany, the stunning home boasts large windows and an open floor plan.

Bachman-Wilson House incorporates mid-century modern design and is a prime example of Wright’s unique style of craftsmanship. The home was originally situated on land overlooking the Millstone River but was relocated due to frequent flooding. The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art purchased the home in 2013 and relocated the home to Arkansas. The Bachman-Wilson House is truly a work of art and is a must-see for anyone interested in architecture or design.

Museum of Native American History

The Museum of Native American History contains a wealth of artifacts documenting years of Native American history. Located at 202 SW O St in Bentonville, the museum chronicles over 14000 years of North and South American history. The exhibits are set up in chronological order and show the rich history and experiences of Native Americans.

Founded in 2006, the interactive museum is excellent for all ages. Starting with the Paleo period (12,000 BC – 8,000 BC), the exhibits track how people lived throughout history, including the tools they used for survival. The Historic Period (1650 AD – 1900 AD) chronicles the experiences of Europeans and Native Americans, including art, style of dress, and other artifacts.

The Walmart Museum

The Walmart Museum is a must-see for anyone interested in the 1950s and the history of the world’s largest retailer. The interactive exhibits are engaging and informative, and Sam Walton’s 1979 Ford F150 pickup truck is a real treat for car enthusiasts. The museum also includes a peek into Sam Walton’s original office. The Spark Cafe is a great place to relax and enjoy a scoop of ice cream after exploring the museum.
