Drive on Down: 3 Favorite Theaters and Performance Venues Near Bentonville, AR

The Momentary

The Momentary offers free public admission. It’s a contemporary art space and it also offers concerts, lectures, exhibitions, film screenings, and other types of events. But the best thing is that you can also enjoy culinary arts since the venue offers many food and drink options. The Tower Bar offers a gorgeous view of our city’s landscape, as well as a rotating selection of mixed drinks, liquors, and wines. Please remember to drink responsibly at all times! The RØDE Bar has a large patio with an open pavilion.

Right next to the patio, you’ll find the Momentary Food Truck, which offers lamb pita, chicken satay skewers, watermelon salsa, and many more dishes. Vegan and gluten-free options are available. Lastly, the Onyx Coffee Lab serves coffee-based drinks with oat milk. It has a patio with an outdoor walk-up window to order your favorite items on the menu!

Meteor Guitar Gallery

Meteor Guitar Gallery is a guitar shop and it hosts weekly music shows. The live music area can accommodate 370 people. The venue has a bar so you can get drinks, but don’t forget to drink in moderation. Meteor Guitar Gallery attracts many talented local bands and hosts the rock concerts for the students of the city’s School of Rock.

The building is a restored movie theater from a hundred years ago. There is also an art gallery, where you can discover the talent of many local artists. The atmosphere is intimate and there is a nice balcony where you can sit and listen to the band. The acoustics and lighting are great.

Trike Theatre

Trike Theatre offers shows targeted to the little ones. Most performances held at the venue include a kid-targeted pre-show experience. During the pre-show, in the lobby of the venue children can make crafts and learn new languages. Most importantly, Trike Theatre has an Academy, which offers summer camps where kids can learn acting skills!

After each course is completed, kids participate in a performance — or, sometimes, a full week of performances. Peers will give feedback on the performance and, based on the feedback they received, students will get advice and re-perform a little part of the show.

Now, you know where to spend a fun night out in our city watching live performances and listening to music. If you have kids, your best bet is Trike Theatre. Of course, you’ll have to choose a car that is comfortable enough for the whole family, like the Hyundai Elantra, which has a 4-way adjustable passenger seat and a full-folding rear seat. Don’t forget to visit Crain Hyundai of Bentonville to find the right car for your adventures.
