4 Spring Activities You Can Drive to Near Bentonville, AR

1. Bentonville Together

It’s time for the one-day spring festival celebrating diversity in the Bentonville community. This activity is free, kid-friendly, and is expected to be another year of fun. It’s happening on Saturday, April 29th at Orchards Park, located at 1100 NE John Deshields Blvd. Activities will be happening from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

This year the performance schedule includes an Irish dance and a Mongolian folk song performed by Thaden School students. Another performance will see Twinkle Twinkle Little Star sung in different languages. Attendees will also see martial arts demonstrations. Food trucks will be serving dinner.

2. Hanging Pots for Mom

Common Dwellings is having a hanging pots workshop. You’ll learn how to build a wooden floral hanging pot and how to keep it vibrant. This class costs $48 and is a fun activity to make a gift for Mother’s Day or make one together.

The class is happening on Friday, April 28th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It’s happening at Common Dwellings at 1401 SE Walton Blvd Suite 205.

3. Spring Market

The 7th annual spring market is happening on May 12th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. It’s taking place at the Benton County Fairgrounds at 7640 Southwest Regional Airport Blvd. There will be over 50 makers participating in this market. You can attend for free, and there will be free parking as well.

This will be a great spring day to appreciate the light-tinted glass in your 2023 Hyundai Elantra SEL. You’ll love the six speakers in your new car as you drive out to the market and back. Hopefully, we’ll all be finding some fun goodies to brighten up our homes for the season.

4. Native Plants for Soil Management

The Bentonville Public Library is hosting a soil management program with Eric Fuselier. He will be teaching our community about the soil conservation techniques Bentonville residents need to know. This will improve soil health, especially if you’re growing food. If you’re a landowner, Sara Wittenberg will go over resources you should know about.

This event is free to attend. It’s happening at the library at 405 South Main St on Wednesday, May 3 starting at 6:00 pm.
